Maanantaina oli ihan uskomattoman ihana kesäinen sää ja pakkasimme repun täyteen eväitä ja suuntasimme keskustaan kävelylle. Kymmenen kilometrin kävelyn jälkeen istahdimme Washington Monument:in eteen vihreälle nurmelle nauttimaan auringon paisteesta. Repun kätköistä paljastui lahja minulle – kuvakirja. 

It was a beautiful day on Monday here in Washington and so we packed our backpack with snacks and took off for walk to the city. After a six mile hike we sat down by the Washington Monument on the green grass to enjoy the sun. In the backpack there was a present for me – a photo book.
